Prof Dr.Niraj Kumar Biswas obtained his MD(Microbiology) from Patna Medical college and hospital , Patna, in 2004. After his MD he joined PGIMER New Delhi (Dr R.M.L Hospital New Delhi) in 2005. Later in 2008 he had joined as assistant Professor, JMCH Jhalawar, Rajasthan, and Associate Professor, Department of microbiology, GMERS Medical College Valsad Gujarat. He is currently a Professor and Head Department of Microbiology, GMERS Medical College, Junagadh, Gujarat, India
His research focuses primarily on epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance of Gram positive and Gram Negative bacteria.
