Dr. Xianming Xia is an associate professor of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Anhui Medical University in China. He got his Master degree at Hebei Medical University in 2004 and Ph.D at Medical School in Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2008. Dr. Xia did postdoctoral research at Jinling hospital in Nanjing from 2008 to 2010. Then he moved to Hefei. Currently Dr. Xia has been serving as reviewers of Gastroenterology Research and Practice, World Journal of Gastroenterology, and Chinese Journal of General Surgery. He is editor for the Journal of Clinical and Pathological Research. Currently, Dr. Xia’s researches focus on intestinal barrier in ulcerative colitis.
