Dr. MK Gupta having 38 years of academic and professional excellence, presently as Dean, C.E.O, Professor & Head, Department of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Swargiya Dadasaheb Kalmegh Smruti Dental College & Hospital, Nagpur, India.
Dr.MK Gupta is well published with 56 national and international research papers in the areas of Stem cell research and maxillofacial trauma. He is guiding postgraduates and Ph.D students for completion of their research work.
Dr. MK Gupta was recipient of “BEST STUDENTS PLAQUE” by International College of Dentists (India & Srilanka section) for the overall Best Performance, during the 4 Years of BDS Studies (1973-77), Merit Scholarship by Indian Dental Association (IDA) for securing highest Position in final BDS examination (1977).
In 1983 he was awarded with the Best Scientific Paper in the XXII Maharashtra State, Indian Dental Association Conference, Nagpur, India.
MK Gupta chaired several scientific session, guest lecture at national and international conferences.
He is reviewers of some important journals in areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery
He also worked as officiating Vice Chancellor of People’s University, Madhya Pradesh, Unanimously selected as President, Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh chapter for the year 2011-2012.
