Luma Naji Mohammed Tawfiq received her B.E. and M.E. from the University of Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq in 1990 and1994, respectively, graduating top of her class all in Mathematical science. She later obtained her Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics in the Artificial Neural Networks and its applications in 2004, from the University of Baghdad, College of Sciences. She was a Lecturer at the University of Baghdad, College of Education for pure science. She is currently a professor and research member leader at the Mathematical science in Baghdad University, Iraq.
Her 135 published researches which interest includes Numerical analysis, Differential equations, computer vision, machine learning, intelligent systems, neural networks and its applications pattern recognition, image processing. Also, supervised of more than 27 Master and Ph.D. thesis. Participated in many universal Conferences, and hers many Scientific Activities. Also, hers Scientific authoresses (books) for high universal publications.
