She is B.D.S from Bombay University(Nair Hospital Dental College) in year 1987 and M.D.S (Prosthodontics Including Crown & Bridge and Implantology) from same college and university in 1989.
She having 24 years of academic excellence with several research publication related to her research areas of interest. She is involved into various scientific activities.
She is Editor -in-Chief of Journal of Ahmedabad Dental College.
Dr.Darshana Shah guides graduating and post graduating students for their research, dissertations & master thesis.She is PHD guide in the subject of Prosthodontics and Oral Implantology for Gujarat University and Ethic committee member of Ahmedabad Dental college ethic committee.
