I am a practising medical oncologist associated with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi, India as a Consultant since December 2014. I finished my residency training in internal medicine (MD Mecicine) and medical oncology (DM oncology) from a highly reputed medical school in Gujarat, India in 2014.
I have worked in various specialty oncology clinics like breast, lung, g.i. & gut, sarcoma, head & neck and paediatrics. I was really lucky to have worked in haemato-oncology and stem cell transplant unit and I learnt the fine details of approaching and treating a patient. I have also assisted as a clinical co-ordinator in two clinical trials (details are listed in my attached resume). My role in such trials enlightened me that research is the need of hour and a great way to pay back to the society what the society has given to us. "Logic, hypothesis, prove and apply" nothing more can be novel than translating an idea into daily routine practice.
