ADJOLOHOUN Sébastien was born on February 02, 1962 in Agoncamè (Benin), married and father of five children. He studied Agronomy at the Faculty of Agronomy Sciences, University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin where he later obtained his Master in Animal Production Science. From 1992 to 2005, he worked in many farms for animal production in Benin and the Department of Animal Production in the Faculty of Agronomy Science of Abomey-Calavi University (Benin). In 2006, he was offered a financial support to run a research study jointly between Gembloux Faculty (Belgium) and University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), leading to a Doctorate Degree in Agronomy Science in Biological Engineering in Faculty of Agronomy Science of Gembloux (Belgium) on forage science (2008) From 2008 to 2011, he was Assistant Lecturer and since 2011, he is Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agronomy Science, University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin).
He has published many scientific articles in Tropical Grasslands; Biotechnology, Agronomy, Society and Environment; African Journal of Agricultural Research; Fourrage; Agricultural Science Research Journal; Journal of Applied Biology and Biochemistry; International Journal of Biological and Chemical Sciences; Archives of Agronomy and soil sciences; Bulletin de la Recherche Agronomique du Benin; International Journal of Poultry. He has attended several international and national scientific conferences and contributed to the publication of several scientific articles in peer-review journals (International Journal of Plant and Soil Science; American Journal of Experimental Agriculture; Annual Research and Review in Biology; Archives in Current Research International; Grassland Science, International Journal of Biology and Chemical Science, International Journal of Biotechnology applications; Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International; Journal of Global Agriculture and Ecology). His field research is: Forage science, seed science, Plant production in relation with animal manure or waste, Animal science.
