Dr. Kiril Bahcevandziev
Dr.Kiril Bahcevandziev was born in Republic of Macedonia, in 1959. He received his BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Kiril & Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia (FYROM), in 1984, the MSc degree in Agricultural Engineering in the MAICH (CIHAEM/ICAMAS), Chania, Greece in 1992 and his PhD in 2003 in Agricultural Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal (actually University of Lisbon). In 1985 he joined Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kiril & Methodius as an Assistant and in 1994 enrolled as lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Azores, Portugal and in 1995 at the Department of Agronomic Sciences, Coimbra Agriculture College, Polytechnic of Coimbra, Portugal, where he is actually an Associate Professor. His current research interests include plant genetic breeding of horticultural crops for disease resistance, plant biotechnology, di-haploid production of rice with tolerance to salt and drought, flower management and production under protected cultivation and genome study of aromatic and medicinal plants.
Dr Kiril Bahcevandziev is a Fellow of the Portuguese Association for Horticulture and International Society for Horticultural Science. He is a Coordinator of the BSc course in Biotechnology at Coimbra Agriculture College and is peer reviewer of PTOC, WJAR and AJPS. He is invited professor of the University of Natural Sciences in Bydgoszcz and Poznan (Poland), Mendel University of Brno (Czech Republic) and University Goce Delcev in Stip (Macedonia). He speaks Portuguese, English, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian, Spanish and Bulgarian. He was a President of the Pedagogic Council at Coimbra Agriculture College and member of the organizing comity of the VIII International Symposium on In Vitro Culture and Horticultural Breeding (held in Coimbra in 2013) and organizing member of various events in agriculture, horticulture and plant biotechnology in Portugal. Actually works on a chapter related with the macro algae as bio fertilizer in production of horticultural crops. Dr Kiril Bahcevandziev lives in Coimbra, Portugal

Dr.Adjolohoun;sebastien
ADJOLOHOUN;sebastien was born on February 02, 1962 in Agoncamè (Benin), married and father of five children. He studied Agronomy at the Faculty of Agronomy Sciences, University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin where he later obtained his Master in Animal Production Science. From 1992 to 2005, he worked in many farms for animal production in Benin and the Department of Animal Production in the Faculty of Agronomy Science of Abomey-Calavi University (Benin). In 2006, he was offered a financial support to run a research study jointly between Gembloux Faculty (Belgium) and University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), leading to a Doctorate Degree in Agronomy Science in Biological Engineering in Faculty of Agronomy Science of Gembloux (Belgium) on forage science (2008) From 2008 to 2011, he was Assistant Lecturer and since 2011, he is Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agronomy Science, University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin).
He has published many scientific articles in Tropical Grasslands; Biotechnology, Agronomy, Society and Environment; African Journal of Agricultural Research; Fourrage; Agricultural Science Research Journal; Journal of Applied Biology and Biochemistry; International Journal of Biological and Chemical Sciences; Archives of Agronomy and soil sciences; Bulletin de la Recherche Agronomique du Benin; International Journal of Poultry. He has attended several international and national scientific conferences and contributed to the publication of several scientific articles in peer-review journals (International Journal of Plant and Soil Science; American Journal of Experimental Agriculture; Annual Research and Review in Biology; Archives in Current Research International; Grassland Science, International Journal of Biology and Chemical Science, International Journal of Biotechnology applications; Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International; Journal of Global Agriculture and Ecology).
