Dr.Himanshu Aeran is presently working as Director Principal and Professor & Head Prosthodontics at Seema Dental College & Hospital, Rishikesh. He did his BDS & MDS from KGMC, Lucknow in 1987 and 1990 respectively & recently conferred with degree of Master’s in Hospital Administration. He holds more than 24 years of teaching experience. He is Fellow of International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy U.S.A & International College of Continuing Dental Education, Asia Pacific. He pursued various courses in the field of Prosthodontics like “Creative Esthetics… Designing Great Smiles,” U.S.A, “Anchora & Precision Attachment”, “CAD-CAM hands-on training, “Occlusal Refinement” & “Integrated Implantology”, from Germany. He recently qualified as NABH Dental Assessor by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers a unit of Quality Council of India. He has 104 publications in various International/National & State Journals to his credit. He is currently member of Advisory / Reviewer Board of 14 Journals. He has conducted numerous workshops, pre-conferences courses. He has conferred with fellowships of International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy , U.S.A. and International College of Continuing Dental Education, Asia Pacific. Dr. Aeran has been awarded with Prosthodontist of the Year-2013 at Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Awards, The Club Mumbai; Most Proactive Academician of the year 2014 at Guident Awards, Goa; Certificate of Excellence as Director in 2nd Academic Brilliance Award-2014; Outstanding Academician -2014, Mumbai; Best Advisory Board Member 2014 by Healtalk; ICD Award in Recognition & Appreciation of his contribution to International College of Dentists. Dr. Aeran is National President Elect of Indian Prosthodontic Society.
