Dr.Johanna Weber's main achievements are related to team handball, where she has been conducting extensive research during her PhD-project at the CAU of Kiel regarding positional differences between the players. The complete demands-profile of handball including psychological factors, technical, tactical, coordinative, physiological and constitutional demands has been researched by using various statistical methods. Furthermore she is involved into research regarding sports injuries in several kinds of sports. Additionally she has been competing as an athlete and working as a coach in practical sports such as handball, swimming, wind-surfing, sailing and wheel-gymnastics for different sports clubs, universities and sports schools for several years on a semi-professional level.
