Dr Sabreena Safuan received her PhD from the University of Nottingham, UK. Before that, she graduated with honours from the International Islamic University, Malaysia and received her MSc from the University of Leicester, UK in the field of Molecular Pathology and Toxicology. Upon returning to Malaysia, she served as a lecturer at the Universiti Sains Malaysia where she is now working. She is a passionate scientist working with macrophages polarization in cancer, ovarian syndrome and neuroinflammatory disorders. She has contributed greatly to the understanding of macrophages associated factors in cancer invaion and metastasis. Dr Sabreena Safuan is extremely devoted to her work and very committed to the highest standard of excellence.
