Dr. Richard Gonzales

Dr.  Richard Gonzales is a Professorial Lecturer of Psychology and Statistics at the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School Manila. Dr. Gonzales received his PhD degree in Educational Research and Evaluation with cognates in Psychology at the University of the Philippines – Diliman and earned his MSc in Educational Measurement & Evaluation from De La Salle University-Manila and his diploma in Cognitive Psychology from Shizuoka University, Japan. He is a Fellow and former member of the board of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and founding president of the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation Association. He is presently working as an international education consultant for Asia-Pacific.He is the Chairman & President of the Inno-Change International Consultants, Inc. and a Professorial Lecturer of Psychology and Statistics at the UST Graduate School. Concurrently, he is the Director of the Test Development and Research Group of the Global Resources of Assessment,Curriculum, & Evaluation (GRACE), a company that provides testing services for K-12 and professional development of teachers.

His research interests are psychometrics, test development and adaptation, motivation of langugage learning, and competency development. He is a member of the editorial board/referee of the following professional journals – International Journal of School and Educational Psychology, Journal of Learning and Individual Differences, Journal of Language Academy, International Journal of Emerging Investigations in Applied and Basic Sciences, International Journal of Educational Innovations, Educational Measurement and Evaluation Review, and Assessment Handbook.
