Dr. Navneet Singh Chaudhary, is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India. His PhD is from Protein Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India. He is awarded with the research grants such as, A research project supported by DST-SERB, Govt. of India under “Fast Track Scheme for Young Scientists-2013” on “Identification, Isolation and Characterization of Anti-Alzheimer’s Disease Compounds (Acetyl-Cholinesterase Inhibitors) from Natural Sources”; A major research project financially supports by DBT, Govt. of India under prestigious RGYI (Rapid Grants for Young Investigators) Scheme-2012 on “Functional and Structural Characterization of Ribosome Inactivating Protein with Lectin Activity from Momordica dioica”; and A minor research projects supported by DST Rajasthan on “Screening for Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Activity of Unexploited Plants of Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan”. He has received travel grants and also JRF and SRF from UGC, Government of India. His Post PhD Professional and Research Training is from July 2013 to September 2013 (Two months) at CSIR-Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad; and Participated in “EMBO Global Exchange Lecture Course” (International) organized by CSIR-CCMB-EMBO at CCMB Hyderabad, India from 29 November to 06 December 2012. He has hands on experience in hands on expertise in: Protein and enzyme purification, FPLC, HPLC; IEF, Western, southern blotting, protein sequencing, enzyme and inhibitor kinetics studies, RNA & DNA Isolation, mRNA purification, RT-PCR, cloning, transformation and gene expression experiments, Secondary structure analysis of proteins and peptides by CD, Fluorescence spectroscopy, peptide characterization by LC-MS, ESI-MS, MALDI-MS-MS and Peptide Mass Fingerprinting, SEM, TEM, AFM, ELISA, Antigen-antibody analysis etc. He has a book chapter and several publications to his credit.
