Dr. MING WANG

Associate editor

I am assistant professor in the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Department of Public Health Sciences at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with expertise in mathematical modeling and computing with emphasis on longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, high-dimensional data analysis and spatial statistics. Before joining the Penn state Hershey Medical Center in August 2013, I spent five years for my Ph.D. study in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Emory University and acquired a solid foundation in statistical methodology research and collaborative research. Upon these training experiences, I focus on novel methodology development in statistics and mathematics, and provide rigorous consulting service for broad investigators at Penn State. I am a member of American Statistical Association (ASA), Eastern North American Region (ENAR) and the International Biometric Society (IBS), and also actively serve as a reviewer of multiple high-ranking journals in statistics including Biometrics and Biostatistics.
