Dr. Jigna Sathya Shah, did her Master in Dental Surgery(MDS) at GDCH, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, later on she was appointed at Department of Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, GDCH, Ahmedabad. Presently Dr Jigna Shah is Professor & Head, Department of Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, GDCH, Ahmedabad, India heading the department since 1993.
She has authored, co-authored and published many case studies, has also been leading the Study “Diclofenac + Paracetamol” versus Paracetamol: A study in Post Operative Dental Pain following Tooth Extraction and Immunological Study on Oral Submucus Finrosis by estimation of IgG, IgM and IgA by Radial Immunodiffusion Technique.
She has mentored several post graduate and doctorate students with interest in research. Worked as an Abstractor in Indian Journal of Dental Research and Appointed as an Expert for GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission).
