She obtained her MDS from GDCH, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University,in 1992. Dr. Deval S. Mehta is an active life member of AOMSI and IDA.
Dr. Deval S. Mehta,credited with several national and international publication. Her area of interest are Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and which includes: Routine minor surgical procedures eg. Tooth extractions, apicoectomy etc, Impactions, Maxillofacial trauma, Oral submucous fibrosis, Temporomandibular joint and its disorders (Ankylosis, Subluxation/dislocation, MPDS), Maxillofacial infections, Dental and Maxillofacial Implants, Orthognathic surgery, Preprosthetic surgery, Distraction osteogenesis.
