PERSONAL DETAILS
I have more then 10 years of research experience in studying various behavioral tests and animal models of neuropsychiatric disorders in rats. These studies were also completed by various biochemical, molecular and histological analysis, especially connected to the relevance of the oxidative stress status in some neuropsychiatric diseases, as studied in both human patients and animal models of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and autism.
HONORS
Best poster award in the "3rd International Congress on Brain and Behaviour", Thessaloniki, Greece, 28 November. -2 December. 2007, with the poster called “Cognitive disorders in 6-hydroxydopamine-induced rat model of Parkinson's disease”.
The “Young Investigator Award” in the “Summer Neuropeptide Conference”, 20 -23 July, 2009, Salzburg, Austria.
