Dr. Anitha Alagesan is Masters in Dental Surgery (M.D.S) from Yenepoya Dental College - Yenepoya University(2011), serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in A. J. Institute of Dental Sciences - Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences anjd Consulting Orthodontist in Dr. Rohan Mascarenhas’s Orthodontic & Dental Clinic and Dr. Suryakanth Pai’s Densure Clinic; Mangalore, India.
She has earned Post Graduate Diploma in Bioethics and Medical Ethics (PGDBEME) from Yenepoya University, Jan 2014. She is Primary Patent holder for a device – “Laser Guided Automated Calibrating Positioning System for Bracket Placement”. Provisional patent is approved under Yenepoya University. (Patent Application no - 2304 /CHE/2011 dated 5.7.11)
Dr. Anitha Alagesan is Well acquainted with Lingual Orthodontics (Certified member of Incognito Appliance System), Self-Ligating Systems, Straight Wire Appliance, Tip-edge and Tip-edge Plus Appliance, Begg Appliance and Edgewise Appliance, NAM Techniques and Orthodontic intervention in Cranio-facial patients.
Dr. Anitha Alagesan has several national and international publications and associated as life member Indian Orthodontic Society, member Karnataka State Dental Council and Mangalore Orthodontic Study Group.
